The 14th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) took place on November 18-19, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Under the theme “Shaping the Future of Supply Chains: Resilience and Sustainability,” the conference featured over 80 distinguished speakers across more than 20 forums. Key topics included supply chain diversification, sustainability, and innovation in technology. The event aimed to enhance Hong Kong’s role as a global logistics hub and showcased innovative solutions from various exhibitors, including workshops focused on environmental, social, and governance initiatives. It successfully brought together industry leaders to discuss future challenges and opportunities.
The “Youth Empowerment Workshop,” moderated by Ir Dr. Eugene Wong, Director of SEIC, featured prominent industry leaders. The speakers included Mr. Wilson Kwong, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited; Mr. Steve Ng, Head of Supply for Hong Kong and Taiwan at Reckitt; and Mr. Billy Yeung, Senior Director of Supply Chain Management for Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China at DKSH Hong Kong.
