A Research Workshop, titled “Research Workshop Series II: VR and AI for Sustainable Research and Teaching Innovation” was held for Shandong Vocational and Technical University of International Studies (SWUT) on 16-17 June 2026 in the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK). The workshop is jointly organised by Supply Chain Excellence and Innovation Centre (SEIC) and Virtual Reality Centre (VRC). A group of 23 management representatives and academic staff have visited HSUHK for a research 1.5-day workshop. Prof. Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience) shared a welcoming speech to the participants, followed by talks and sharing sessions on AI, optimisation, multidisciplinary research, sustainability and ESG, presented by Dr. Eugene Wong, Dr. Kev Ling, and Dr. Ran Wai. The workshop include interactive activities in Virtual Reality Centre (VRC) and a visit to the Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminal (Hactl).
