The Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management Programme (MSc-GSCM) at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) recently hosted its 12th GSCM Leadership Talk, titled “Leading through Integration.” Co-organized alongside the Supply Chain Excellence and Innovation Centre (SEIC) and the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (HKIE) – Logistics and Transport Division, the high-profile seminar took place on 2 October 2025 (Thursday) at HSUHK’s Fung Yiu King Hall.
The event drew an impressive crowd of over 170 industry practitioners and academic students, featuring Mr. Michael Tung, Managing Director of SF Supply Chain (Hong Kong) Limited, as the distinguished guest speaker. Following his keynote address, a stimulating panel discussion was spearheaded by Dr. Eugene Wong, Associate Professor at HSUHK. During the dialogue, Mr. Tung delivered profound analyses on three pivotal structural shifts: navigating logistics resilience under ongoing global supply chain disruptions, capturing market potential through innovation and inclusion within the silver economy across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA), and deploying cutting-edge robotic technology to tackle Scope 3 emissions in sustainable supply chain operations.

The seminar concluded with a vibrant Q&A exchange, leaving participants with actionable insights into contemporary integrated logistics and modern supply chain management strategies.
