Our heartfelt thanks to Professor Anselmo Reyes who came to our school as a guest speaker for a professional talk in the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management on 30 March 2017 (Thursday). The topic in this session of the Maritime and Aviation Logistics Law Seminar series is “Half-year Aftermath of Hanjin Shipping – Cross-border insolvency, Legal dispute settlement and Insurance claims”. Professor Reyes shared his views on his previous judgement in the case of “The Convenience Container” and discussed about the latest development of Modified Universalism and Centre of main interest in cross-border insolvency. Professor Reyes and the participants exchange views on the recent legal and claim issues in the Hanjin cross-border insolvency case. Participants gained a lot from the sharing of Professor Reyes. Souvenir was presented to Professor Reyes at the end of the seminar, followed by a group photo.
